To enable the system to automatically generate a settlement rule for an internal order, you need to assign a strategy sequence to the order. In Customizing you can display SAP standard strategy sequences, and if required, create user-defined strategy sequences.

To create or edit a settlement rule, click Settlement Rule Maintenance and click New Settlement Rule or Edit Settlement Rule. Enter the quote for each receiver as an absolute value. Taken as a whole, the settlement factor represents the settlement ratio (such as ) for which costs are allocated.

To do this, go to the WBS element's details in the search results. As Parameters, enter the Settlement Period and the Fiscal Year for which the settlement is to take place. Optionally, you can enter more parameters, such as the Posting Date or the Posting Period. Select a Processing Type.
