Waivers is a shorthand term related to the fantasy basketball waiver wire. The waiver wire is where players who have been cut from one team can be added by another.

Once a player is claimed, the player's current team may either negotiate a trade, rescind the waiver, or do nothing and allow the claiming team to assume the player's contract.

All managers in the league can check Waiver Report/Offers Report in your league to check the details on every waiver/FAB claims.

The League Manager (LM) has the option of modifying waiver settings and player signings allowed during the season. Players added via trade do not count against any team signing limits. Waiver settings is LOCKED at start of draft and acquisition limits can be changed by LM through out the season.

Waiver Overview If you make a waiver claim and win it, you get moved to the bottom of the waiver order list. Players who are added and dropped within less than 24 hours will be placed as a Free Agent. Any player previously part of a team for more than 24 hours will always be placed in Waivers.

You can see your Waiver Claim Position and view your outstanding claims by looking beneath your team information on the My Team page. Clicking on the "Waiver Order List" will open a detailed list of team managers and their claim order. Clicking on "Pending Moves" will allow you to view your outstanding claims.

If it happens on more than one occasion, it's understanding to suspect some sort of cheating or peeking. There is currently one way in which a commissioner can see anyone's bids at any time. That is by them going into the Member Settings, temporarily un-assigning a user from a team, and assigning themselves.

Waivers put temporary freezes on unclaimed players, giving everyone a chance to make a claim on them. When this time period ends, all waiver claims are processed and the manager with the highest waiver priority gets the player.

After each Game Week in the regular season, the waiver priority list is reset: The new rank is determined by the reverse order of the current league standings (the manager with the lowest league standing gets 1st rank). When playoffs begin, the waiver priority list stops resetting.

Waiver Priority Order: During the offseason and through the first three weeks of the regular season, the waiver priority order is the same as the most recent year's draft order (prior to any trades).
