Dean's brother John was the first to sign the papers. John's wife Margaret was later able to sign the papers. His wife Margaret, was the one who discovered the body. Dean's father-in-law, Fred, passed away around March 29, 1980. At that time Fred's son, Fred Maloney also went into the hospital with alcohol abuse issues. He was found in the same bed as his father at the same time as Dean. Later that month, the Maloney family moved to the apartment they had been living in Arlington. John Maloney died on February 2, 1981. Fred Maloney on June 13th, 1981 also had to go into the hospital with drug abuse issues. On August 11th, Dean's brother John and his wife Margaret Maloney signed the final papers in signing the deal between the Malone's and the Malone family. The Malone family signed the sale of the apartments to the Malone family.
