Notice No. DACW41-19-B-RE-0074. When TAD sends out property value notices it also sends the appraisal records to the Tarrant County Appraisal Review Board (TARB).

TAB has the authority to issue a Certificate of Assessment for the land on which the TAD has placed the notice. The application of property value is governed at Texas Property Appraisal Code (TPA) Section 16.01. In addition, the appraisal board must issue a written confirmation that the appraisal was made within the period and under the conditions of Section 16.05. The notice must include the date or dates on which the appraisal was received. If a notice is sent to a property owner that is not the owner of record on that parcel, TAD must submit the appraisal of the property to the appraisal board of record for review within 30 days after the notice becomes known to them. The notice may also be sent to the owner of record, as long as the notice remains with the owner for 30 days after its notification. If the appraisal board does not receive notice or confirmation of an appraisal by the specified time, the TAD receives only a Certificate of Assessment for the entire property.
