A 30-day statutory time limit for taking a civil appeal runs from the date of service of the judgment or order sought to be appealed from, with written notice of its entry (see CPLR 5513a).

Prepare a written Notice of Appeal, Case Information Cover Sheet (CICS) and file it with the district court. Notice of Appeal and CICS forms may be obtained from a clerk of this court. Serve a copy of that Notice on the other parties, and file acknowledgment or affidavit of service in district court.

Iii. Section 13 of the CC Act provides that a person aggrieved by the judgment or order in a commercial dispute may appeal to the commercial appellate court or the commercial appellate division of the High Court, as the case may be, within a period of 60 days from the date of the judgment or order.
