4 The Nonprofit Corporation Law is set out in California Corporations Code, Section 5200 et seq. The directors of a corporation may change the address of the registered office within the place specified in the articles or a special resolution. This must be done in the zoning ordinance or local law itself. (1) A nonprofit corporation shall have a board of directors. All non-profits, whether charitable or membership corporations, must have members.
